    Description

    I am offering for sale a 19th Century framed plaster cast of a medal depicting French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte commemorating the reestablishment of the statue of Napoleon in the Place Vendome in 1833.   The perimeter of the medal states Napoleon Replace Sur La Col. Ne En Juil. Et 1833 Sous Le Regne De Louis Philippe 1.  It is framed in gold under glass with a blue velvet mat.  The detail is very fine.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  An original of the silver medal is in the Royal Collection Trust in London.  The frame measures 7 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 1 1/8" deep.  The medal measures 1 7/8" in diameter.  There is reflection of light in some of the photos.
