I am offering for sale a midnight blue porcelain box depicting a scene from the famous famous painting by
Jacques Louis David
of the coronation of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in 1804. The bottom of the box is marked with a Limoges makers mark. The details are very fine and the colors are vivid. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures 6" in diameter x 2 1/2" high. Some of the photos show reflections of light.
