Up for auction:
this leather covered powder flask that has been made in the last quarter of the 20th Century.
It has a patented top with outside spring.
The nozzle has a 4-step graduated scale: 2¼ - 2½ - 2¾ - 3 DRAMS.
The top has been marked by the makers and reseller:
JAMES DIXON & SONS LTD SHEFFIELD
PARKER HALE LTD BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND
Total length included nozzle 205 mm (approx. 8 Inches) - maximum width 85 mm (3.35 Inches).
Condition: EXCELLENT! The inside shows no evidence of black powder so I guess never used!
Charger unscrews, has a strong blued spring and is in new condition.
Leather is very good with some very minor handling marks.
A high quality British powder flask!
Shipping times are much longer than eBay estimates.
